UPDATE — Police report they have located a missing Cedar woman, safe and sound.

EARLIER: NANAIMO – A 50-year-old woman not seen in days may be injured.
Nanaimo RCMP on Saturday, May 8 said they’re looking for 50-year-old Stephanie Walker. The Cedar woman hasn’t been seen since Thursday, May 6.
“Investigators have learned from a family member Walker may have been assaulted and injured. As a result, there is extreme concern for her safety and well-being,” Cst. Gary O’Brien said in a release.
The details leading to the concern weren’t shared.
Walker is 5 ft. 7, weighs 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She has an eagle tattoo on her upper right arm
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to call Nanaimo RCMP.
