NANAIMO – Nanaimo residents should keep their eyes to the sky on Sunday afternoon.
A Canadian Armed Forces CF-18 Demonstration Team will be conducting a fly past over Nanaimo.
The team will also perform fly pasts over Parksville and Tofino before travelling down the west coast of the Island to Victoria.
It’s all part of the Royal Canadian Air Force’s Operation Inspiration to honour the efforts and dedication of frontline workers during the pandemic.
The Snowbirds are set to fly over parts of Vancouver Island on Monday, July 19.
Their efforts will focus on hospitals across Vancouver Island, including NRGH in Nanaimo.
