Other countries in the world have implemented rules where traffic fines are based on a person’s income, and it sounds like BC is pushing for the same.
Sometimes that means bad news for the rich, like for this millionaire in Finland who was fined $130,000 for speeding!
It also means that those who are lower income aren’t impacted as severely.
