QUALICUM BEACH — Police are looking for a missing 18-year-old woman whose disappearance is being considered suspicious.
The BC RCMP say Melissa Harper was last contacted on Wednesday, Oct. 21, and was last known to be in Qualicum Beach.
She’s described as 5’4″, 110 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police and family are concerned for her well-being, RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Alex Bérubé said.
“For this reason, the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU) has taken over the investigation. Melissa Harper has ties to both the Lower Mainland and Alberta.”
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Melissa Harper is asked to contact their local police or the VIIMCU information line at 250-380-6211.
