LADYSMITH — Police are trying to identify a man who allegedly committed an indecent act in front of a woman last month.
On Sept. 7, around 3 p.m., Ladysmith RCMP reported the woman was in the Nanaimo River area north of Spruston Rd. when she saw a man committing an indecent act.
He’s described as a white male, approximately in his late 50’s with a slim build, under 6’0″ tall, balding, with light brown hair on the sides.
The man was last seen wearing light blue swim shorts and carrying a blue towel.
Investigators released a composite sketch of the man with the woman’s assistance.
Mounties are asking anyone who may have been in the area on the day in question between 2-4 p.m, or if they recognize the sketch of the suspect, to contact the Ladysmith RCMP non-emergency line at 1-250-245-2215.
