The 17-year-old girl reported missing by Nanaimo RCMP has been safely located.

NANAIMO — RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 17-year-old girl who they believe is in Nanaimo.
Leela Scarff-Sparrow lives in the Lower Mainland and was expected to return home on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024
Investigators say she may be staying at an Airbnb in Nanaimo’s Departure Bay area, however extensive searches of the area for Scarff-Sparrow have so far been unsuccessful.
Scarff-Sparrow is described as a non-white youth, 5’1″, 110 pounds, with long blonde/brown hair and brown eyes.
