Hardworking and Hardly a Thanks
Not my own father but my husband who has stepped up to be an amazing father to my first born when his dad stepped out as well as the 2 children we have together.
5+ days a week (for the last 17 years) this man goes to work keeping our hospital clean for a pittance while I stay home and take care of our kids. Everyday he trudges to work for 7am and slaves away cleaning up everyone else's waste for little pay and less thanks so that I can raise our kids and try to find what I want to do "when I grow up". He even picks up extra shifts when he knows we need a little extra to get us through the month. He never complains. He never asks for anything extra. He just takes care of us.
I would love him to win this amazing gift so he can spend the day relaxing on Father's Day.
