Step Father appreciation
My biological father unfortunately is not in the picture, but that's a whole other story on it's own. Long story short about my step dad:
My step father and I have been through some bumpy times along the way, but ended up with a great friendship in the end. He's been around since I was a toddler, and showed my mother the way she was supposed to be treated. I'm sure it wasn't easy stepping in to help out with three kids that weren't his own, but he did it with a goofy smile on his face. About a year ago I found out that he has Parkinson's disease. I don't understand how a good soul like his gets dealt this card, while my biological father who has hurt so many and continues to do so, walks around this earth just fine. Life isn't fair, I know that. Anyways! I heard about this contest on the radio today and thought it would be cool to enter for him.
