From the last Thursday in November until the second Sunday in January, Ladysmith is ignited with the life of thousands of twinkling Christmas lights.
Drive or walk down First Avenue (you may be able to shop) and take it all in to fill your cup with Christmas spirit.
The Light-up includes a Craft & Artisan Fair and the Light-up Parade.
The Festival of Lights Craft and Artisan Fair is held at Aggie Hall, 1110 First Avenue, Ladysmith, on the day of the Light Up Parade.
Date: Thursday, November 27th, 2025
Sale hours: 3:00 pm until after the fireworks, approximately 9:00 pm
Setup time: 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm
The streets around Aggie Hall will be closed to traffic from 2:30 pm until well after the fireworks.
The parade lineup usually starts at 5:00 pm.
Parade usually begins at 6:40 pm SHARP!
Route proceeds along First Avenue to Bob Stuart Park (where riders disembark), and all empty floats will proceed across the highway to designated parking areas along Rocky Creek Road.
