UPDATE: boil water advisory ended for Cedar

NANAIMO — UPDATE: The boil water advisory for the North Cedar Improvement District has been lifted. All users of the Cedar water system can resume regular use, effective immediately.



A boil water advisory involving nearly 1,300 connections in Cedar is into its fifth day.

North Cedar Improvement District administrator Jennifer Bradley said high turbidity levels caused by storms impacted water quality in their well system.
