Halloween is done. The jack o’lanterns have been cleaned up, mostly and now Nanaimoites turn their attention to Christmas decorations.
I know people that can’t wait for November 1st to arrive so they can get the house ready.
I imagine that once they turn out the porch light after the last trick or treaters have left that they drag out the tree, the lights and ornaments.
Is Christmas being thrown at as earlier every year? I was seeing t-v commercials promoting Christmas shopping before Halloween. Stores had Christmas candy beside the Halloween treats.
With the joy the holiday brings, I’m starting to see the benefits of getting the decorations up early.
If it gets me to the Christmas baking sooner, I’m in.
