This week for Woo Hoo Wednesday, I gave a shout out to a friend of the Morning Show who had given blood for the very first time.
I said I hope he enjoyed the snacks and I congratulated him on helping three people. Three strangers.
What a gift to give for Christmas. More time with loved ones. More chances to laugh.
It really is the perfect gift. There’s no frantic search for wrapping paper. No batteries needed. It’s never returned.
This week I make my 50th donation. That’s 150 people I have helped. I know people that have donated more than 160 times.
As an announcer, I am asked to emcee a number of events. Often with crowds over 100.
It’s humbling to think that my donations over the years have helped a room fall of people.
And you get snacks.
